A 4-sided blade designed to reach a balance between offensive and defensive qualities. The first balance-oriented blade in Beyblade X, it is the standard that all other balance types are modelled after. The upper side of its 4 blades is styled to be jagged for attacking opponents, while the lower side is smoother for deflecting opposing attacks. The shape is also designed to reduce air resistance, improving stamina. These qualities together give the blade a wide range of uses depending on the parts it is paired with.

In the competitive landscape, Hells Scythe is an exceptionally useful part due to its ability to work well in many different types of customizations. Among these many uses, though, the most widely valued use is in stamina customizations, where its smooth underside is invaluable in surviving against various opponents. As such, it is definitely a worthwhile blade to use, and owning at least 1 is recommended.
